Johnny Depp may be back for another pirate adventure

Who doesn't love the savy, swagger-walking, witty and iconic Captain Jack Sparrow? No one I suppose. Back in October, Disney announced they would be creating a new Pirates Of The Caribbean chapter with the help of Chernobyl screenwriter Craig Mazin and Pirates' alumni Ted Elliot and guess what? (..drum rolls..) Johnny Depp may be reprising his role as the iconic Captain Jack Sparrow for Disney's sixth installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

The celebrated actor has been in and out (mostly in) the news lately regarding his case with his ex-wife, 'Amber Heard' over allegations of maltreatment and domestic violence which has robbed the 56-year-old actor of his 'paramount' (no pun intended) roles in major blockbusters such as The Pirates of the Caribbean and recently (during his libel case against British tabloid: The Sun) 'Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them' as major studio 'Warner Bros' distanced themselves on matters of DEPP vs HEARD  when first made public. After many months of slander against the actor, documents were eventually revealed showing he might be innocent afterall as the public made a U-turn in support and favor of the Kentucky born actor.

Disney has interests of making the upcoming movie to be female led and whether this information changes or not, we'd know in time; which means Depp's character (Captain Jack Sparrow) could play 'more of a supporting role' in the highly anticipated movie.
