New WONDER WOMAN: 1984 announcement! Oh wait... There's a new trailer too.

Wonder Woman:1984 female director, Patty Jenkins has released an online statement on Twitter that the film will now be released by December 16, 2020 after some frustrating intermittent postponements as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This was followed by the release of a brand new trailer to complement the announcement.
Watch the trailer below...
The plot of the second installment of the DCCU movie, after a successful global campaign at the box-office in 2017, will date back to 1984, during the Cold War, when our classical heroine, Diana Prince comes into conflict with two formidable foes - media businessman, Maxwell Lord and friend-turned-enemy (a villainess who possesses superhuman strength and agility), Barbara Ann Minerva while re-uniting with her love interest, Steve Trevor.
Wonder Woman:1984 major cast and details include: Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), an immortal demi-goddess, Amazon  princess and warrior. Diana is the daughter of Hippolyta, the Amazonian queen of Themyscira, and Zeus, the king of the Olympian Gods. Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord: A charismatic businessman and entrepreneur who is famous for TV infomercials (There's more than meets the eye; he is presumed to also have some sort of brain power). Kristen Wiig also starrs as Barbara Ann Minerva (Cheetah), an archaeologist who befriends Diana before becoming imbued with a cheetah-theme appearance and abilities leading her into a conflict against Diana and teaming up with Lord. And then we have 'sweet' Trevor (Chris Pine) who is an American pilot and spy and the love interest of Diana who presumably died in an airplane crash in the first movie. One way or the other, he's back. How? We'll definitely find out this Christmas.
Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled to be simultaneously released theatrically by Warner Bros. Pictures and digitally on HBO Max in North America on December 25, 2020.
The film will debut theatrically in international markets that do not have HBO Max on December 16, 2020.
SEE YOU IN '84!
